- I'm so glad that other people are AWAKE and SEE what is happening. I agree with Rebekah, if you don't like it LEAVE!!! I'm tired of having to fight for what this Country was based on. People came to this Country and still do to get away from people telling them what to or not to do.

- I don't think that our founding fathers were stupid at all, they founded this country, and made it the Great Nation it used to be. I think that we need to go back to those grass roots and start over, cause everything that they believed in has been watered down.

I agree with Kat-422885. Our country was founded on strong values, which we are seriously lacking now. It was also founded by our great founding fathers to be a place of religions freedom. They put the great and honorable words "In God We Trust" on everything, because that is what they believed. Why have we gone so far away from this traditions.

My family is made up of soldiers dating back to the Civil War. Its a honor to be a part of this great country. I believe removing these words would be in essence kicking our founding fathers and all those soldiers who lived and died for this country in the fact. It just wouldn't be right.

We all have our options, and we are free to have them, that is one thing that makes this country great. Please don't step on my rights by allowing me and others like me who believe in the greatness of this country to have ours. If you like suppression so much then you can always move to another country that does not honor our traditions.

Our founding fathers were not stupid. They recognized the obvious, that God is sovereign. Read much of what they wrote and discussed. God is in is all over the place. Even Franklin asked for prayer is the discussions before Congress. The idea that they did not mention God all over the place in the Constitution has no meaning. It was implicit. They meant, in the first amendment, that the government should not abridge our right to express our faith in all places. Just look around Washington on the old buildings. God and faith is etched all over the place.
This new atheism is the problem. They want to remove God from society and change the meaning of the first amendment.
God is sovereign and will have His will over our country and all of us.

Thanks Kat. I get so tired of people saying everyone has the freedom of speech, but when a Christian speaks, it is wrong. They can talk about all kinds of things in school that offends Christians, but we can't say anything, because it offends someone. This country started out for people to have the right to pray and read the Bible and now government is trying to take that freedom away. I think if they don't like us doing our God given rights, that they should go back where they came from.

This Country was built on GOD we trust. when this Country was being colonized it was built on the backs of people that believed in GOD and the bible. The question that I have is why do you think that they trusted GOD? It was because they could not trust England and GOD was the only one there for them.
